Shawnee Co. Commission Hears Presentation on Sewer Project

 Man Charged with July 2005 Murder to be Sentenced Today

Topeka Police are investigating a stabbing that sent one man to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Police say they were called to the 6200 Block of Southwest 26th Court just before 1:30 Tuesday morning.

Police say the 41-year-old man has since stabilized.

Police believe the man had been in an argument with a woman he knew prior to the stabbing.

Police say the suspect is described as a 30-year-old white female five-foot-five and 130-pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police are asking anyone with information on the stabbing to call police at 785-368-9400.
