	Shawnee Co. Commission Hears Presentation on Sewer Project Last Updated: 4:50 PM 08/28/08 - The Sherwood area of Shawnee County may get a new Pump station to replace the current aging system. The project shouldn't raise bills because funds from sewer bills have already been set aside for the project. Construction could begin next year. (Full Story)
	Man Charged with July 2005 Murder to be Sentenced Today Last Updated: 11:48 AM 08/26/08 - Rashawn Anderson to be sentenced today for the July 2005 murder of Christopher Caraway. Topeka Police are investigating a stabbing that sent one man to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Police say they were called to the 6200 Block of Southwest 26th Court just before 1:30 Tuesday morning.

Police say the 41-year-old man has since stabilized.

Police believe the man had been in an argument with a woman he knew prior to the stabbing.

Police say the suspect is described as a 30-year-old white female five-foot-five and 130-pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police are asking anyone with information on the stabbing to call police at 785-368-9400.
