It's tax time again and you may qualify for free income tax preparation. The service is to assist people with low to moderate incomes get their 2007 taxes done for either individuals or families. Plus it is not required that you are a resident of Shawnee County.

Even if you are not required to file a return, you may want to in order to claim tax credits or refunds due to you. If your income is below $30,000, you may be eligible for the Food Sales Tax Credit and/or Homestead Credit.
