Readers of a national business and finance publication recently named Topeka as the best city for your future. You may remember Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine ranked the capital city two months ago as 10th best in the nation for prosperity into the next decade.

The magazine's Web site set up a Facebook page for all ten cities to give residents a place to give feedback and pick their favorite. Topekans overwhelmingly chimed in with more positive thoughts than any other of the nine cities.

Residents cited low cost of living, a strong local economy and its family friendly atmosphere.

More than 1,200 people are fans of Kiplinger's Topeka Facebook page. Kiplinger's Web site draws nearly 1.2 million unique visitors each month.
