Ribbon Cutting Held For New Kansas Soybean Building
The Kansas Soybean Commission and the Kansas Soybean Association held a ribbon cutting for the new Kansas Soybean Building in S.W. Topeka located at 1000 S.W. Red Oaks Place.

Topeka, Kan. (WIBW)_ The Kansas Soybean Commission and the Kansas Soybean Association held a ribbon cutting for the new Kansas Soybean Building in S.W. Topeka located at 1000 S.W. Red Oaks Place.
Officials spoke about the importance of soy and how it is used for animal feed and bio-deisel.
The building will help with the research and promotion of soy, which was even used to build the new facility.
The new building cost just under one-million dollars. Furniture and equipment was about $500,000.
