Topeka, Kan. (WIBW)_ About 60 soldiers and airmen from the Kansas National Guard's Agribusiness Development Team were welcomed home from Afghanistan on Saturday.

A welcome home ceremony was held at Washburn University. Family members were there to greet and welcome back those who served overseas.

The soldiers and airmen assisted Afghans in the Laghman Province with developing efficient agricultural techniques.

Another Agricultural Development Team is now in Afghanistan, helping to finish their work.
