WASHBURN UNIVERSITY -- Does the prospect of turning your teenager loose with cash, a checking account or credit cards scare the heck out of you?

Never fear, the MONEYSMART Camp is here.

The Capital Chapter of Credit Unions is joining with Washburn University to present the fun day-camp that's all about being smart with your money. It's scheduled for Friday, March 19th from 8:30 in the morning till 3:30 in the afternoon. (Don't worry, your kids aren't missing school, it's spring break.)

The cost of MONEYSMART is just $10, and scholarship money is available to deserving applicants. The classes of 120 teens will learn more about saving and budgeting their money.. and how to set financial goals. The seminars will be held in Henderson Building, Room 100. Lunch will be provided, and kids can enter to win a T-shirt.
