ROSSVILLE, Kansas - Rural Mobile Food Pantry Distribution by Community Action, Inc., and Harvesters Food Network, was held Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at Citizen Potawatomi Nation, 806 Nishnabe Trail, Rossville.
The organizations distributed fresh food, fruit and vegetables, and dry goods, to individuals that show picture ID and social security numbers. There are no income guidelines to receive the goods but because the food stuffs are available in limited amounts they will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Recipients brought their own box, cart, or sturdy bag.
Future distributions are scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of every month in Rossville.
