Former Guard Arrested
The Shawnee County Jail says 33-year old Nathan VanDyke of Olathe was booked Wednesday morning on three counts of unlawful sexual relations.

Topeka - A former prison guard was arrested Wednesday on charges he had sex with female inmates.
The Shawnee County Jail says 33-year old Nathan VanDyke of Olathe was booked Wednesday morning on three counts of unlawful sexual relations. They say he later was released on $50,000 bond.
CJ Online reports VanDyke was fired from Topeka Correctional Facility in October, following their articles in which former inmates said he pressured them to have sex.
The jail says VanDyke has a docket hearing March 11th.

Considering his extra marital affairs, this doesn't suprise me. I hope they book him to the fullest extent of the law.

I hope he gets what he has coming. There are people that do wrongfully accuse, but this isn't one of those instances. VanDyke and several other officers treated the inmates like objects instead of people. I was there and seen a lot of things going on over the years. For those of you that weren't there shouldn't judge, because there are illegal actions that go on in prisons every day. A lot of it comes from the staff.

No he should not get anything at all!! He should have never lost his job in the first place. Those inmates accuse a lot of things.
