Overbrook (WIBW) - The major water main break is fixed but it will still be a couple days before Overbrook is back to normal.

City officials say repairs were completed just after 6 pm Thursday to a large water main break. The community's water system started losing pressure Wednesday. A smaller break and larger break were discovered.

Even though everyone in town has water again, a boil advisory remains in effect because of the possibility contaminants could have entered the system.

The city plans to flush the lines and do testing Friday. KDHE will give notice when the water is deemed safe. Residents are advised to boil water for at least a minute before using it.

Overbrook Attendance Center will resume classes Friday.
