Organizations Team Up Giving Away Food in Rossville
The Community Action Rural Mobile Food Pantry, along with the Harvesters Food Network gave out free food Wendesday in Rossville.

ROSSVILLE, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Community Action Rural Mobile Food Pantry, along with the Harvesters Food Network gave out free food Wendesday in Rossville.
Cars lined up along Mish-Nabe Trail, waiting their turn for volunteers to bring and load food into their vehicles.
Organizers gave away fresh foods like sweet potatoes, baked goods like fresh bread, yogurt, and even popcorn balls.
Community Action and Harvesters estimate giving out 5,000 pounds of food to almost 500 people.
The organizations plan to team up to hand out food again, on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
