Haskell Freshman Dies After Being Jailed
Authorities have ruled out foul play in the death of A.J. LongSoldier, according to the Great Falls Tribune. The state medical examiner determined he died of natural causes.

HARVE, Mont. (WIBW)_ A freshman basketball player at Haskell Indian Nations University died following after being jailed in Montana.

Authorities have ruled out foul play in the death of A.J. LongSoldier, according to the Great Falls Tribune. Following a state mandated autopsy with a coroner from another county present, the state medical examiner determined he died of natural causes.

LongSoldier reportedly had returned to Montana for his grandfather's funeral.

While there, he was arrested on a Contempt of Court warrant and taken to the Hill County jail.

On Sunday night, a detention officer requested medical assistance and he was rushed to a hospital where he later died.
