TOPEKA -- Heartland Visioning is reporting back to the Topeka community Wednesday about what has happened with this crucial process over the past year. Everyone is welcome to join Heartland Visioning from 11:30 till 1:00 Wednesday, November 18th, in Washburn Room A of the Washburn University Student Union.

Another session will be held Wednesday night from 5:30 till 7:30 in the rotunda of the Topeka-Shawnee County Public Library.

Heartland Visioning is the community-wide initiative to develop and implement a shared strategic vision for what Topekans want in their community over the next five, to ten, to twenty years from now. The community is defined as Shawnee County, including Auburn, Rossville, Topeka, Siler Lake, Willard, and the unincorporated part of the county.

Heartland Visioning and Executive Director William Beteta will talk over the accomplishments of the past year and everyone in the audience can interact with Vision Partners and Foundation Team members from six Foundations: Education, Quality of Life, Infrastructure, Economic Development, Private Sector Leadership, and Government.

Feedback will gladly be accepted in both sessions.
