Relief Teams Offer Help Shoveling
The City of Topeka has joined forces with two local agencies for the 4th Annual Snow Relief Team. The teams offer shoveling services to older residents and those with disabilities.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)_ The City of Topeka has joined forces with two local agencies for the 4th Annual Snow Relief Team. The teams offer shoveling services to older residents and those with disabilities.
The teams are made up of five or six female inmates from the Topeka Correctional Facility and two male inmates from the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.
To qualify an person must live within city limits, meet income qualifications, be 55 or older or have a disability, and have no one else to help.
