Fourth Shawnee County H1N1 Clinic To Be Held Thursday
The Shawnee County Health Agency (SCHA) will hold the fourth public H1N1 clinic on Thursday, November 19th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., as vaccine is available.

TOPEKA, Kansas - The Shawnee County Health Agency (SCHA) will hold the fourth public H1N1 clinic on Thursday, November 19th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., as vaccine is available. The clinic will be held at the Kansas Expocentre.

Vaccine available at these clinics will only be directed to individuals who meet one of the following criteria:
• Healthcare workers with direct contact with patients
• Pregnant women
• Children 6 months through 18 years of age
• Caregivers of children 6 months and younger

As a reminder, anyone 9 years of age or younger receiving the H1N1 vaccine will require a second dose of the vaccine 28 days after the first dose.

The Health Agency is working with local medical providers as well as planning for additional public clinics to accommodate this need.

• Cover your cough and sneeze
• Wash your hands.
• Keep living and work areas clean.
• If you are sick, stay home. Do not get in close contact with those who are ill.
