Topeka, Kansas (WIBW-TV) - A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 6am Tuesday as snow blankets much of Northeast Kansas.
The heaviest snow is north of Topeka with accumulations as follows according to Meteorologist Drew Switzer. HWY 36 4-8 Inches; Riley, Pott, Jackson counties - 3-6 inches; I-70 1-3 inches; Trace to 1 inch to the south.
Here's the forecast for Monday - Rain changing to Snow. 4-8 Inches of Accumulation near HWY 36. Winter Storm Warning for Jackson, Pottawotomie, Riley, Washington, Marshall, Nemaha, Brown Counties. Temps in the 30s, wind chills in the 20s. Winds N 10-20mph.
Tonight - Snow Likely. Lows 29-33. Winds N 10-20mph.
