Police Release Name In Fatal Shooting
Police say two women were shot around 8:15 Sunday night at a home at 2415 Northeast Thomas, one fatally.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Police say two women were shot around 8:15 Sunday night at a home at 2415 Northeast Thomas, one fatally.

One of the women died of her injuries, she was identified Monday as 49-year old Michelle Campbell.

26-year old Milan Garlington suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Topeka Police say they are looking for a black man who left the area possibly in a light-colored SUV.

Authorities continue to investigate the shootings. If you have any information, call detectives at 368-9400 or Crimestoppers at 234-0007.

The lady who was loaded into the ambulance had a tank top on and a rag on her head to protect her braids on her head.. what is wrong with u people?? gangbanger?? she probably would out do u in college.. lol u people are so stupid and ur black?? i would think u did this to them.. this is my family and i will not stand for people like u 2 comment like this about her!!!!! she has a job and is not on welfare.. guess u dont know 2 much huh???

hey the girl that loaded in the ambulance was innocent she no gang member she smart in college and Ms Michelle was also innocent also it was sad lost to me she was my mom and best friend so don't judge or think cause somebody has a doo rag on they in a gang she a young strong black woman and michelle was a good warm loving woman so get it right before judging
