Parts of the Kansas River Bridge in Lawrence came down in an instant on Sunday.

Lawrence, Kan. (WIBW)_ Parts of the Kansas River Bridge in Lawrence came down in an instant on Sunday.
Part of the bridge was blown up. Another part of the bridge will be blown up on Thursday and a final section will be blown up in December.
There is a bridge next to the area where the blown up bridge was. Lanes of that bridge will be expanded once the other bridge is blown up.
It is part of a $130 million project that is expected to be complete in 2011.
