TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Open enrollment for the Medicare Part D Drug Plan began Sunday, and runs through the end of the year.

This open enrollment period means that people already enrolled in a Medicare drug plan can now switch to a different drug plan, through December 31st.

The Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging is helping out those wanting to transition to a new plan.

They suggest making an appointment to meet during their scheduled hours, 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
