A woman was killed after a car collision in Franklin County.

Authorities responded to the accident just after 6 p.m. Friday night at the intersection of Allen Road and Eisenhower Road on the Franklin County/Anderson County line.

Larry Wicks was driving west on Allen Road in his pickup when he struck a Ford Tempo going north.

That tempo was driven by John Auten, and Auten's passenger, Cindy Wilson, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both Wicks and Auten were taken to Overland Park Regional Medical center with non-life threatening injuries.
