Would-Be Robber Gets Stuck In Roof Vent
Authorities worked early Thursday morning to extricate a man who was stuck in a rooftop vent in Southeast Topeka. It appeared the man was trying to break-in to the store through the vent.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Police were called to an unusual break-in Thursday morning at a Topeka business.
Police responded to the break-in at a smoke shop at 2726 SE California just before 4 a.m. Thursday.
There they found a man, Juventino Sanchez Jr., stuck in a rooftop vent. Police say the man had been hanging upside down for a number of hours.
The Topeka Fire Department was called in to extricate Sanchez from the vent and were able to pull him out by 5 a.m.
