A local kid has made the top ten qualifiers nationally out of eleven thousand kids in the Red Robin's Nationwide Gourmet Burger Contest.

Gabriel Byrne's burger is called "Seven Wonders Burger".

The burger has toppings like garlic parmesian butter, sauteed mushrooms, onion straws, bacon strips, avocado slices and his special touch.

He says it took some trial and error to make the perfect burger.

Gabriel has been awarded a trip to Denver to compete in the finals of the contest.
