Topeka (WIBW) - A Topeka bank is hoping for some wild animal stories.

Capital City Bank will host a book signing with Gary Clarke from 9 am to noon, Saturday, Nov. 7. The event will take place at the bank's 1701 SW Gage location.

Clarke’s new book is titled "Hey Mister – Your Alligator’s Loose."

Clarke began his career in 1957 at the Kansas City Zoo. In 1962, he moved his career and love for animals to the Fort Worth Zoo as a curator. He came back to Kansas in 1963 to become he zoo director for the now World Famous Topeka Zoo.

He was with the Topeka Zoo for 26 years and retired in 1989 with the title of Director Emeritus.

Books will be available for purchase for an all-inclusive price of $30.

My husband and I have been watching the Yellowstone Wolves for 13 years. There is something special coming out in the morning and hearing the howl of a wolf. We have seen 19 wolves chase Buffalo in Lamar. We have seen the Alpha pair take care of the pup in the spring. We have learned that one animal can change the face of Yellowstone.
