New Nemaha Valley School Building Opens
The new Nemaha Valley Elementary and Middle School opened Tuesday, more than two years after fire destroyed Seneca's old school building.

Seneca (WIBW) - After two years of being separated on different campuses, Seneca students are back together.
A fire on March 10, 2007, destroyed Seneca Grade School and Junior High.
Tuesday, students, teachers and staff moved into the new Nemaha Valley Elementary and Middle School.
The 62,000 square foot building brings 280 students back under the same roof.
The new facility cost $12.8 million. It includes some familiar touches, including limestone insets from the building that was destroyed.
The school has 25 classrooms, a media room and two playgrounds.
