Topeka (WIBW) - Now that Halloween is over, area children can turn their treats into treats for others.
Two Topeka doctors are having candy buy-backs.
Dr. Michael Browning of Sunflower Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is having his event from 2:30 to 4:30 pm Tuesda at 5501 Southwest 29th.
He'll give children a dollar per pound for their treats and give another dollar to Jessica Seidel's medical fund. The Topeka teen is undergoing chemo and received a bone marrow transplant in April.
Also buying back candy is Dr. David Borel, a dermatophologist. People can drop off extra treats from 9 am to 5 pm thru Nov. 6th at his office at 5650 Southwest 29th.
He'll also give a dollar a pound, then send the candy to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
