Topeka (WIBW) - Both the victim and two of those accused in a weekend homicide are no strangers to the law.

51-year old Gerald Eberhardt was shot and killed in his Tecumseh home early Sunday. Four people, including 19-year old Scott Mosher and 20-year old Derrick Haase, are charged with premeditated first degree murder and conspiracy.

Authorities have said Mosher and Haase know each other through gang associations.

A check of Shawnee County Court records shows Mosher pleaded no contest in September 2009 to domestic battery and had two other domestic battery cases pending against him. He was scheduled to make a plea in one of those November 5.

Haase also pleaded no contest to a domestic battery charge this year.

Victim Gerald Eberhardt has had 14 cases filed against him, dating back 17 years.

He pleaded no contest to domestic battery in 1998 and was convicted of domestic battery by a jury for cases filed in 1999 and 2005. The last conviction netted him a year in jail.
