K-State Student Diagnosed With TB
A K-State student has been diagnosed with multi-drug resistant tuberculosis. Students who might have had close contact with the student are being contacted for free evaluations.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)_ A K-State student has been diagnosed with multi-drug resistant tuberculosis.
A doctor at Lafene Health Center told the K-State Collegian the student wasn't found to be contagious on first examination, but that both Lafene and Mercy Health center, where the student was taken, were being cautious.
Students who might have had close contact with the student are being contacted for free evaluations.
Multi-drug resistant TB is still usually treatable by modern medicine.
The students name and gender is being withheld.
