STRONG CITY, Kan., (WIIBW)_ A man who fell into a grain elevator in Strong City Wednesday lost a leg and faces more surgery.

WIBW news partner KVOE radio spoke with Chase County Sheriff Richard Dorneker, who said doctors could not re-attach Justin Lee's leg.

It was severed just above the right calf when Lee fell off the edge of a grain auger while trying to signal a truck and the auger pulled his leg inside.
