TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Authorities responded to an overnight house fire in the 3200 block of Northwest Rochester early Saturday morning.

Shawnee County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Soldier Fire Department arrived at 3212 N.W. Rochester at 12:30 a.m.

The Topeka, Silver Lake and Shawnee Heights Fire departments assisted the Soldier Fire Department in fighting the blaze.

The house was a total loss.

No one was home at the time of the fire, so no one was injured.

The State Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
