Locals Honored For Work With Elderly And Disabled
The Kansas Health Care Association honored local professionals and citizens Tuesday for their work with the elderly and disabled.

The Kansas Health Care Association honored local professionals and citizens Tuesday for their work with the elderly and disabled.

At the association's "Trekking Towards Quality" ceremony in Wichita, 13 Kansans were honored.

Topeka's own Roxanne Urban of Topeka Community Health Center was named Activity Director of the Year, and Pressola Abbot of Lexington Park, Assisted Living Worker of the Year.

Rossville Health Care's Nina Perry was honored as Social Worker of the Year, and the Center's Floyd Gee was named Distinguished Citizen.
