TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The tally is in, and last Tuesday's McTeacher's Night, raised almost $8,000 for Northeast Kansas Schools.

Area McDonald's donates sales' proceeds between 4 and 8 p.m. last Tuesday evening to seven Topeka, Wamego and Emporia schools.

This was the second McTeacher's night of 2009.

Regionally, last week's event raised almost $190,000 for Kansas, Illinois and Missouri schools.
