International Animal Health Firm Chooses Manhattan
It's another big feather in Manhattan's hat! The official announcement is set for Friday morning.

MANHATTAN -- A Friday morning news conference will be held at the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce to announce the location in Manhattan of a new international animal health company.
The company’s headquarters are to be relocated to Manhattan, KS from South Africa along with new production facilities for its North American operation.
Scheduled to speak at the Press Conference are Dr. Kirk Schulz, President, Kansas State University, Tom Thornton, President of the Kansas Bio-Science Authority, Kent Glasscock, President of NISTAC, City of Manhattan Mayor, Bob Strawn, Lyle Butler, President, Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce and the President of the New Company.
