Oskaloosa (WIBW) - The man accused of killing Oskaloosa farmer Dale Kingsbury will undergo a mental evaluation before his case continues in Jefferson County.
Jefferson County Judge Gary Nafzigger ordered 36-year old Adam Hooper to be sent to Larned State Hospital for that examination.
Jefferson County Attorney Caleb Stegall says the criminal action against Hooper will not continue until the court receives the formal evaluation from Larned.
Hooper is charged with killing the 50-year old Kingsbury and then hiding his body in a cistern on Kingsbury’s farm.
