Racer To Visit Kansas National Guard
Racers and National Guardsmen team up to promote races at Heartland Park.

(WIBW) - Race car driver Tina Stull will be making several appearances this week along with members of the Kansas National Guard.

Stull will be signing autographs and handing out a limited number of racing tickets to members of the military during these appearances.

Stull will be racing in the Lucas Oil NHRA Division Five at Heartland Park Topeka on Aug. 28-29. All military personal with valid ID will receive one free admission to the races.

Stull is sponsored by Military Community Youth Ministries Club Beyond, which is a ministry for military high school and middle school aged kids worldwide.

Kansas Guard member and motorcycle racer, Staff Sgt. James Hubbard, Topeka, will also be in attendance, answering questions on the Kansas National Guard's sponsorship of motorcycle racing.

Hubbard is sponsored by the Kansas National Guard and is a Division 5 Pro Bike racer. He is currently in first place in the Heartland Park Topeka Points. Hubbard races a 2007 Honda CBR600RR.

In addition to Hubbard, Danielle Jaramillo, Topeka, will be in attendance at select sites. Jaramillo, sponsored by the Kansas National Guard, competes with a Super Comp Dragster 8.50. She finished fourth in the 2008 Heartland Park Topeka Points Series and is currently in third place for 2009.

3:30 to 5 p.m. Topeka South Armory (Armed Forces Reserve Center),
Forbes Field, Gary Ormsby Drive and "J" Street
