Topekan With Permit Stops Robbery By Firing Shots
An employee at a business being robbed at 21st & Clay Saturday night used his concealed carry license, firing shots at would-be robbers. They fled, and no one was injured.

Topeka, KANSAS (WIBW) -- An employee at a business being robbed at 21st & Clay Saturday night used his concealed carry license, firing shots at would-be robbers. They fled, and no one was injured.

Topeka Police released this information:
At approximately 10:30PM Topeka Police officers were called to 21st and Clay reference a break-in in-progress to a business. The suspects confronted an employee who was trying to close up shop and a struggle ensued between the suspects and the victim. The victim had a Kansas Concealed Carry License and was eventually able to access his handgun and fire a shot at the suspects who then fled the scene.
