OTTAWA, Kan. (AP) _ A 24-year-old man has been arrested after an
Ottawa woman died in an apparent shooting.

Police identified the victim as 19-year-old Sky Nicole
Cadarette. She died Friday night of what appeared to be a single
gunshot wound, but police said the exact cause of death will be
determined during an autopsy.

Police said an Ottawa man has been arrested on charges of second
degree homicide, and is currently being held without bond in
Franklin County.

The suspect and the victim lived at the residence where the
shooting happened.

Authorities initially received a report of a possible drive-by
shooting. But police said there was no evidence that anyone shot
into the house from outside.
