KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Jackson County authorities say former Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Rich Baldinger will not face
criminal charges in a fatal traffic accident.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said 61-year-old Marilyn Walters of Grain Valley was killed Saturday when the car she was in collided with a car driven by the 49-year-old Baldinger in Blue Springs.

Velda Cook, a spokeswoman for the Jackson County prosecutor, said investigators had ruled the collision an accident.

Baldinger played for the Chiefs from 1982-93.
