Topeka (WIBW) - Those mourning the loss of Ruby Tuesday's will soon have a new place to dine.

Famous Dave's barbecue restaurant is moving into the building at SW 17th and Wanamaker where Ruby Tuesday used to be. A spokesperson for the chain says the franchisee just closed on the location Thursday.

The spokesperson says they're making the announcement now to let Topekans know that even though they lost one restaurant another is on the way.

A construction timetable is still being firmed up.
