Osage County (WIBW) - The Osage County Sheriff's Office confirms a grain truck that overturned and killed a teen was stolen.
Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn says 17-year old Cassandra R. Morgan of Osage City was driving the grain truck just before 12:30 am Sunday at 333rd Street and Hoch Road.
Dunn says it's not clear where Morgan was prior to the accident, but says the truck was reported stolen from Coffey County.
Dunn says authorities are investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the accident. She asks anyone with information on what happened to contact Osage County Crimestoppers at 877-OS-CRIME.
Morgan's family has set up a fund to help pay for funeral expenses. Donations may be made to Landmark National Bank in Osage City or Topeka.

I think it is horrible for the Morgan family! Yes, what the girl did was wrong she should of never stolen the truck and she paid the ultimate price for her action's! With that said thou I am very thankful that no one else got hurt. If she was drinking and driving it could of been so much worse and other driver's out that night could of died for her mistake. I would of honestly expected it to be Willy Morgan her brother to do something this stupid! That man is bad news hopefully he learns from his sister's mistake and cleans up his act! It really is to bad thou that this girl did not have a chance to make something of her life and break free of all her addiction's and bad habit's! I will be making a donation to the family because no matter how the girl died she still need's to be laid to rest and that is a huge burden to be put upon the family!
