"Blood for Badges" Helps A Good Cause
Area police and fire departments are battling it out to see who can get more people to give the gift of life. All week, it's your chance to help support your favorite firefighters or police department as they participate in the battle for blood.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) _ Area police and fire departments are battling it out to see who can get more people to give the gift of life.
All week, it's your chance to help support your favorite firefighters or police department as they participate in the battle for blood.
Participants include the Kansas Highway Patrol, the Shawnee Co. Sheriff's Office, Topeka Police and Fire Departments.
Just head down to the Community Blood Center, 800 Lane, before Saturday, and when you donate, let them know which organization you support most.
