Silver Lake, KS – School board officials met Wednesday night to discuss budget cuts at Silver Lake schools.

A focal point of their discussion was the future of five vacant athletic positions. The school board is expected to vote on that and other budget cuts on June 29.

The school recently made other cuts like maintenance and not purchasing new buses.
