H1N1 Turns Up in 18th Kansas County
A child in Cowley County has become the 101st confirmed case of H1N1 virus in Kansas. The illness is now confirmed in 18 Kansas counties.

There are now 101 confirmed cases of H1N1 in Kansas.

Cowley County announced its first case Monday. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment says it's a child who has the virus.

The H1N1 virus is now reported in 18 Kansas counties. The most cases confirmed are in Geary and Riley counties, with 25 and 23 cases respectively.

Confirmed H1N1 Cases by County:
·Butler County – One case involving an adult
·Dickinson County – Two cases involving adults
Cowley County – One case involving a child
·Douglas County – Two cases involving adults
·Ford County – One case involving a child
·Geary County – 25 cases total involving nine adults and 16 children
·Gove County – One case involving an adult
·Johnson County – 11 cases total involving four adults and seven children
·Labette County – Two cases involving adults
·Leavenworth County – One case involving a child
·Morton County – Two cases involving adults
·Ottawa County – One case involving a child
·Pottawatomie County – One case involving a child
·Reno County – One case involving an adult
·Riley County – 23 cases total involving 15 adults and eight children
·Saline County – Eight cases total involving one adult and seven children
·Sedgwick County – Three cases involving children
·Wyandotte County – 15 cases total involving two adults and 13 children
