Wow! First of all I am a VERY overprotective and think its awful when people do not buckle up themselves and especially their children. That being said, I ALSO think its awful when people jump to conclusions and leave rude comments! I was the babies daycare proveder and I ASSURE you that the mother is very careful, loving, protective and more than capable. And that baby was dropped off every day in a very nice infant carseat...and he was ALWAYS buckled in correctly. The day of the wreck they left my house and they were buckled! I have heard several stories..one was that they weren't buckled when first responders arrived (because she was performing CPR!) I have never asked her for the story because honestly it doesn't matter, she and her family will suffer forever because of the ignorance of the other driver. I wish I would have read this along time ago so I could have possibly stopped some of you for leaving such terrible words!

I can't believe how many people are after the mother. Yes it is horrible that she did not buckle them up. But I'm 35yrs and I don't remember how many time growing up we were not but on car seats and the same goes for my parents. It was a horrible accident. I feel for the mother and my prayers are with her.

Does it really matter if there was an emergency it takes 2 seconds to buckle a baby in to a seat there is NO reason what so ever that those children werent in their carseats
