FORT RILEY, Kan. - The 1st Infantry Division Commanding General's Mounted Color Guard will participate in the inaugural parade for President Elect Barack Obama in Washington, D.C., Jan. 20.

Over the next two weeks the CGMCG will take to the streets of Topeka, Wichita and Fort Riley in order to prepare the horses and Soldiers for the parade in Washington. The CGMCG will rehearse as follows:

* Jan. 8 -- Downtown Topeka
* Jan. 12 -- Downtown Wichita
* Jan. 13 -- Fort Riley
