TOPEKA, Kan. - An accident just before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday blocked northbound lanes of I-470 for a short time.

A van was turned perpendicular to the lanes, causing the blockage. It had front end damage, but no other vehicle was immediately seen at the accident site.

The female driver walked away from the accident with a limp, but appeared to have no serious injuries.

13 News will have an update on the cause of the accident after authorities continue their investigation and release further information.
