Brown County authorities have a man behind bars they say shot a woman and fled from police. It happened just after 11:30 Tuesday night at the Country View Apartments in Hiawatha.
A family member tells 13 News that the female victim was shot three times. She's in serious but stable condition. Officers spotted the suspect's vehicle in the area, and after a short chase, he got out and ran but was caught.
33-year old Robert Atlas is in the Brown County Jail on charges of aggravated battery, criminal threat and attempted second degree murder.

There is a big difference between not complaining about Police chases when they are doing THEIR JOB and catching the bad guy and when Cops shoot people for no good reason in their front yard and then get a 8 month paid vacation for it. Of course people are going to complain when the Law Enforcement abuse their power and think they can treat people anyway they want because they have a badge. I use to work in the Law Enforcement field, and I've seen a lot of shaddy stuff working there.

Oh, I see how it is. No one complains about police chases now. Only when there is a bad outcome, never when the outcome is good. What a bunch of hippocrits you all are.
