KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) _ Sprint Nextel Corp. is facing a second
class-action claiming the wireless carrier failed to pay employees
earned commissions.

U.S. District Judge John Lungstrum on Wednesday certified the case as a class-action. The lawsuit was filed by four current and former employees of Sprint's Business Direct Channel, although it could eventually cover hundreds of account executives and managers.

The suit claims computer problems stiffed the employees between $500 and $1,000 a month for up to five years because it didn't track sales information correctly.

Another federal judge last month certified a class-action brought by Sprint retail store employees who also claimed they didn't receive earned commissions.
