13 News reported Tuesday that Joey Baggz had landed a job with Country Legends 106.9 after being fired by Cumulus' V100 back in August.

Country Legends told us Wednesday that Cumulus management wrote 106.9 a letter saying Baggs has a six month non-compete after leaving Cumulus, regardless of whether he left voluntarily or was fired.

Country Legends says Baggz hiring was contingent on his legally clearing his Cumulus contract. Whether or not he ends up on-air at 106.9 is up in the air.

I'm glad they fired him. He's a loser who thinks he's big stuff (well.. he is pretty fat) well.. he might be a big fish in a very small pond. Who gives a rat behind about him??

I could understand it if Baggz quit, but being fired, he shouldn't be under any contract stipulation. Although I haven't listen to KV-100 since they stop playing classic rock a few years back. Use to be one of the best classic rock radio stations in the nation.
