People still like Ike - and they also like the programs offered at his presidential library!

The Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in Abilene says it set an attendance record for public, outreach and education programs in November. A record 815 people attended 21 programs. They says that's more than in November of 2005, 2006 and 2007 combined.

Library officials say a program featuring Afghan teachers attending K-State and a student program on the "Crisis at Little Rock" were especially popular. More than 330 students attended it.

"This tremendous increase demonstrates the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum's commitment to providing outstanding programs benefiting Kansans," director Karl Weissenbach said in a statement.
