In the spirit of Grinch, someone stole a Salvation Army kettle Tuesday afternoon.

The kettle was in front of the Gordman's store on South Topeka Boulevard. When the bell ringer took a break for lunch around 2:30, someone took the kettle off the stand.

Salvation Army Captain Chuck Yockey told 13 News there is surveillance video and that Topeka Police are looking at it to identify the thief.
