Washburn Rural High School students are putting their best foot forward in their latest musical performance "Thoroughly Modern Millie."

The musical opened Thursday in the school auditorium.

Its about a small town girl from Salina, Kansas who journeys to the Big Apple to marry for money. It's based upon the 1967 film and has won six Tony Awards.

You can check it out for yourself, it runs Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $8 dollars and can be purchased at the door, in advance at the WRHS Bank, or by calling the WRHS box office at 339-4945.
